I highly recommend TipTop Plumbing & Heating! I posted in the Ask Calgary Facebook group looking for recommendations for a company near me in Evergreen, and I’m so glad I did.

Ray came out within two hours to assess an issue with my furnace. For a $75 travel/service fee, he took the time to explain what was going on, gave me a quote for the repairs, and even walked me through how furnaces work! He was also upfront about my options and explained that there were things I could potentially do myself to save some money.

I’m always a little nervous about calling repair companies because you hear so many stories about people getting ripped off, but Ray was honest, straightforward, and genuinely helpful. No pressure, no unnecessary upselling, and no nonsense — just honest advice and clear information so I could make an informed decision.

My furnace stopped working on a Saturday September morning that was cold and rainy.  I live in rural alberta and everyone out here was busy till the following Monday or the charge just to show was a bit more than I had,  I called Tip Top and found out they were in Calgary, I got some info and let them know I would call back.  About 30 minutes later I called back and they scheduled me in for an afternoon appointment.  Soon after I got a call back saying they had finished early on a job and could be out for  late morning around 11:00
Tom arrived on time of this visit.  He went downstairs checked out the furnace, while explaining everything to me along the way.  He told me it was the intake motor, took out the part, showed me what was wrong.  He could not fix this part.  He got on the phone and tried to get one but being a Saturday he could not get one till Monday morning.  He cleaned up, let me know about the part he would pick up.  I gave him the payment required which took me a few minutes to move some things around.  I found Tom to be very pleasant, knew and liked his job, and was helpful in explaining things to me.
He offered to get me some portable heaters as it was going to be a cool weekend.  I thought this was a nice gesture but said I would be okay.  He said he would see me first thing on Monday after he got the part.  Tom called Monday morning after getting the part to let me know when he would be at my home.  He came in, went to the furnace and did the work needed, cleaned up, explained everything to me, about warranty, invoice etc.  I paid the balance and off he went.  His customer service with this job was one of the best .  I would  definitely call this company again for such great service.  When the furnace kicked in it was smooth, and the heat blew nicely.  Thank you to TOm and Tip Top for making me cozy for this up coming winter.

Great service! We got an appointment the same day, Thomas was sent out to help us. He was great, changed a pipe that was leaking in 10-15 minutes.
